TADDM (BBView) integration with Atrium CMDB

Overview

Discovery Tool: Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager(TADDM) Discovery Problem Statement: Integration of TADDM Discovery data into the Atrium CMDB through API's , the integration was slow and with less flexibility for changes (new mappings and relationships). Solution: As IBM Partner , Trianz is well aware of the Common Data Model of TADDM . TADDM Internally maintains the data in VIEWs called BB Views for all the different types of discovered data . With the Exception knowledge of these Views and with rich experience of Atrium CDM. Trianz built the transformations in Atrium Integrator for most of the CI and relationships between TADDM and Atrium Atrium CMDB. This solution powerful and very easy implementation of integration between TADDM and Atrium CMBD. Benefits: Quick win for TADDM and Atrium CMDB.
